NLP for Making Better Decisions
Using NLP Strategy Elicitation and Installation
With a hint of frustration, he told me his problem: “I’m very good at making business decisions but terrible when it comes to personal ones.”
This was affecting his personal life, relationships, and building anxiety.
As complex as it may sound, it’s a simple problem.
Decisions are guided by a combination of values (i.e., criteria that motivate us) and the internal processes we use, called strategies in NLP. You can learn about them in my NLP Pro and New NLP home study courses.
What he was essentially telling me was that he had an effective strategy for professional decisions but a poor one for personal decisions.
The solution? Surprisingly simple.
First, I elicited (found out) both strategies - observing the sensory elements, sequences, and criteria involved. Then, I helped his unconscious mind apply the effective professional strategy to his personal life. It took about two hours.
In this case, I guided him into a deep trance and taught his unconscious mind to run the successful strategy in both areas of his life.
About three months later, he returned to Karachi and came to see me for another issue. He was delighted with his previous session as he was now able to make good personal decisions.
What’s the Key to Rapid Change?
One of the keys to creating rapid change is identifying what’s already working and building from there. It’s far more effective than dwelling on why they have problems.
Yes, but what if the problem comes back? Some people may argue.
Well, if you were sick, and you took medicine to get well, then next year got sick again, what would you do?
Would you think badly about pharmaceutical companies? Argue with your doctor, saying medicine is a scam? Or would you get treatment?
Hopefully, you’d get treatment.
Therefore, my friend, if a problem returns, use common sense and get another session. It's only a couple of hours.
NLP isn’t magic–it’s a tool, and in skilled hands, it creates magical results. With nearly three decades of experience in the field, I’ve seen this firsthand.
But as Arthur C. Clarke said:
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
If you’re ready to be magical, make the decision to check these online NLP courses.
