A man once joined my NLP course. He was very skilled in his profession, but he provided his services at very low prices.

As a result, he had to take two jobs, working from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, six days a week yet he had difficulty meeting ends meet. This caused him to have a lack of sleep, stress, and was unable to give time to family.

When we discussed his challenges, I noticed two core, and quite common issues:

1. A poor self-image, which held him back from asking for fair compensation. This is often expressed by saying "I am not good enough / valuable enough" etc

2. Several limiting beliefs that kept him stuck for years. e.g. "People will not pay, if I ask for more that what I do"

There are several ways in NLP that you can use to help people with self -image. One of them is a simply to associate good feelings with yourself. To do this, stand in front of a full-length mirror, close your eyes and recall a time when you did something for someone and felt good about doing it. Recall as vividly as you can, see what you were seeing, hear what you were hearing, feel the way you were feeling. Then imagine yourself stepping into your image. As you feel those good feelings, open your eyes and look at yourself. Repeat several times.

This is just one way, there are several others.

During the course, I coached him developed a healthier self-image and replace his limiting beliefs with empowering ones.

Six months later, we met again, and his life had completely changed. He told me that his income had multiplied rapidly, and he was earning 10 times more plus, he was working fewer hours, and he finally had time to spend with his family.

There's no price tag you can put on the ability to help people.

Alhamdulillah, learning NLP is truly a blessing. Not only does it help you understand yourself on a deeper level, but it also empowers you to help others by understanding them better.
